COURSES:

Introduction to Computers:  Hardware, software, operating systems, computer applications, networking, utilities, Internet, computer programming languages

Computer Applications:  Word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations tools, English grammar software

Introduction to Computer Programming:  C/C++, Mathematics

Object Oriented Programming:  Java, Visual Basic, Mathematics

Web Design:   Dreamweaver

Class format:  lecture 1.5 hours, lab 1.5 hours

OBJECTIVES:

After successful completion of this program, the student will be able to:

·        Use computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

·        Write computer programs using programming languages, such as C++ and Java

·        Use proper grammar in preparing written reports and oral presentations

Each course meets four Saturdays.  Registration fee: $25 per person, per course; payable to Masjidul Taqwa.  Fee must be paid prior to attending the first class.
